Role Summary:
Seeking a hands-on IT Manager / Analyst to own and support business-critical G&A systems in a regulated environment. This role is focused on system ownership, workflow optimization, and business partnership-not infrastructure or pure implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as IT System Owner for G&A applications, with primary focus on financial systems.
- Partner closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Investor Relations.
- Own and optimize end-to-end workflows, ensuring systems meet business needs and compliance requirements.
- Manage ERP and financial applications (NetSuite or similar), including expense and procurement tools.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support audit and compliance activities.
- Ensure systems meet SOX and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
- Operate in a small, lean environment, taking direct ownership rather than delegating execution.
- Focus on business impact and optimization, not just technical delivery or implementations.
Requirements:
- Experience as an IT Manager, Business Systems Analyst, or Application Owner.
- Strong background supporting G&A and financial systems in a regulated environment (5+ years experience).
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred (or similar ERP).
- Experience with expense/procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Concur, or comparable tools).
- Hands-on system ownership experience post-implementation.
- Understanding of SOX and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable, compliant system solutions.
Preferred:
- Biotech or pharma industry experience.
- Background progressing from implementation roles to long-term system ownership.
- Proven ability to manage workflows and business processes, not servers or networks.
